Isn't he adorable???!!!!

We are sooo excited!!! We are getting a dog!!! We've been wanting one for a while now and have been praying that God would open the doors and give us the dog He wants us to have and we found Mogley on Craig's list!! I can't wait to meet him and bring him home!!! I love him already!!!

Wedding tomorrow

My "little" (he's 6'4") brother is getting married tomorrow!! I'm really really excited for him!! He is going to be a wonderful husband...that I know for sure. First of all because my dad was and still is a wonderful example of how to be a great husband so they've seen it first hand which I believe makes a HUGE difference and secondly, I lived with Ben for about a month and he treated me like gold (and always has) and if someone can do that for their sister then you know they will treat their wife well. He is very thoughtful and kind and caring and I know he will be a great husband. Claire (the soon to be Mrs. Burkhardt) is a sweetheart as well. We have known her since I was probably 3 or 4 so about 27 years!! She is a wonderful lady and I'm so happy that she will be a part of our family. I wish them the very best and I am so excited for them!! They have waited for God to bring the right one along in His time and He has and will continue to bless them for that. I will be sure to post lots of pictures when I get a chance!!!

HUGE blessing today!!

I started playing the violin when I was either 8 or 10 years old (can't remember which) and I always loved it. Well I have been looking for one for a few months now. I really wanted to start back up on it. I found one on Amazon.com for $39.99. (which is an absolute steal for a violin) It said it was new and the picture was nice but you just never know when you buy online. But I prayed about it a while then bought it. It came in today and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Absolutely beautiful!!! Hasn't even been used yet! The strings and bridge aren't even on yet!!! I'm soooo excited!!! So I wanted to share my huge blessing!!! Very special letter I received today

When i was in college there was a teacher I really looked up to and admired, Mrs. Jojo Moffitt. I used to meet her at the front door every morning and walk her to her office, I'd help her grade papers, even wrap her family's Christmas presents!! Anything to get to spend time with her. We have kept in touch over the years as much as we can....she's very busy so it's not as often as I'd like, but today out of the clear blue I got a letter from her and it meant so much to me and I wanted to share it with you.

That just meant the world to me to get that from her and I am was so excited that I had to share. Thank you for allowing me to!

Happy Long Weekend Everyone!!

It's such a good feeling isn't it?! Well...okay...I don't have a long weekend but it's still the weekend so...who cares?!?!?! Sam has Monday off (his poor boss...I think I asked him 40 million times...my memory is horrible!!! Thanks Joe!!! :) ) I'm so happy for Sam cause he works 2 jobs plus he's a volunteer fireman so he is busy busy busy so I'm happy that he'll have a day to sleep in and just relax for once!! He deserves it!! Plus...I only work half a day Monday so I'll get to spend some time with him!! Yeah!!
Work is going great. I recently got a new position at work and I love it! It's way less stress than what I was doing...much much more enjoyable!! Tomorrow we are going out to lunch with my brother, Aaron and his wife Christina so I'm really looking forward to that! Sam and I love them dearly. They loved us and prayed for us when it would have been alot easier just to give up and let us go our own way. They are a wonderful couple...we love you guys!!! Also...their 3 year old, Drew, started soccer last week so I'd really like to get out there and watch him tomorrow...I'll have to get some pictures to show him off!!
Hmmm....other than that....not much else going on here! My "little" (he's 6'4") brother is getting married in 2 weeks so we are looking forward to that and to seeing people we haven't seen in a couple years!
