My buddies came to see me!!!

I was so excited when Christina called and said they were on their way cause I thought with the weather I wouldn't get to see them today!! Just made my whole day!!

Good day to be home!

Brr!! I am so glad that I have off today!! It's so cold out and very very windy!! Supposed to get wind gusts of up to 60mph. Plus it's snowing so there's not much visibility. In fact...it was so windy during the night that our backyard swing broke in 2 and both pieces ended up in our neighbors yard!! We were too tired to do anything about it at 5am!!!....yeah....very good day to have off!!! I'm very comfy in my most comfortable pants I have and one of Sam's warm sweatshirts!! Frumpy...but I'll change before Sam gets home!...probably!! :) Supposed to spend time with my sis~in~law and the kids today, always the highlight of my day but this weather is just ridiculous...too crazy to be out in....well...there's always my next day off! They are by far the cutest kids in the world...I know I post pics of them on the forum but I wish you gals could meet them....they just melt your heart!!!
Well...I'm gonna sneak off here and get some breakfast. Hope you all have a good day!!

Praise the Lord!!

We've been having a little bit of trouble financialy lately. It's our own fault...so I'm not complaining but we have a lease for our apartment that we signed through the end of July. We went to my landlord tonight to talk to him about it. We figured if he said that we had to stay cause of the lease we would just accept that cause he's got bills to pay too. We totally understand. So we asked him if he maybe had a cheaper apartment and he said he doesn't. He said not to worry about the lease...we gotta do what we gotta do. But then what he said totally blew us away....he said...."if I drop your rent to $550 (we are currently paying $675) will you stay? We were just absolutely blown away!! Never in a million years would we ask him that...or think that he would offer!! We just can't get over it. I think we're more shocked over the fact that God did this for us. We DO NOT deserve this one bit....not even a teeny tiny bit. God really really took care of us in spite of ourselves and it was just way too good of a blessing not to share.

Brrr. It's winter here in Buffalo!!!

Hello all!
I went to my first ladies fellowship at the new church on Friday night. It was really really nice! We sang, Pam gave a devotion about keeping our eyes on God no matter what others are doing, we played a game, made a valentine card...she has tons of craft supplies...I was loving it!!! And of course, we ate!! Just had a great time with my sis in law and the other ladies.
We got hit with more snow on Saturday morning. It was so so pretty!! One of these times I'll take a picture and post it on here for you southern gals who don't get it very often! It was a little intense driving to work Saturday morning cause it was coming down pretty hard, plus it was blowing, plus it was dark...so...bad combination...but I made it fine...just drove slowly and of course, stopped for my Tim Horton's coffee to ease the stress!! :)
Anyway...not much new going on. Hope you all have a great day!

Little bit of this....little bit of that

...went back to work today and I feel great. I was nervous last night cause I had a migrane so I wasn't sure but when I got up today I felt really good so I was really happy about that. Looks like the antibiotics did their thing! Hooray! Thanks to everyone who prayed for me.
Some of you already know this but starting tomorrow, Sam and I are going back to the church I was going to this summer. I abslolutely loved it. I don't easily trust people but this pastor and his wife are real. You can tell they just really love God and want to serve Him and want to help others do the same. We are going back tomorrow and I can't wait! I've never liked a church like I like this one. My brother, Aaron and his wife, Christina and their kiddos go there so that will make it alot easier since we already know them.
I bought some green tea bags today so I'm gonna try making iced tea with them. Supposedly green tea helps you drop weight so I'm gonna give it a shot. That would be great if it tasted good and did the trick!! We shall see!! Anyway....enough rambling for now!

Blah!

I went to the doc this morning cause I haven't made it through a day of work since Wednesday. I'm not throwing up anymore but I feel lousy so I've been "ordered" to stay in bed till Tuesday. Ugh. I'm gonna go crazy doing that! But what are ya gonna do? Thank God for my laptop!! I can follow doctors orders (regardless of what Kaileen says!! I'm still resting!! :) ) yet still continue to terrorize you all! : ) Sam is really taking care of me and I appreciate it! I hate to take antibiotics cause they always make me feel worse but.....I will.
Our weather here has been insane! On Monday and Tuesday it was in the high 60's, then a few days later, we had like 75 mph winds!! So weird!! But hey...it's not a snowstorm so I ain't complaining! This is great! You don't have to shovel wind or rain! I know some of you gals are having tornados right now and I gotta say....I'd take a "Buffalo snowstorm" over that any day!! The last tornado I was in was that one we had one Friday night at college!! Does anyone remember that? We were all heading out to the gym for Friday night ladies devotions and there was one going on and they didn't know it!! That was so funny!!
Anyway....I'll stop rambling...just wanted to say hey!!
